How One Hot Shower Fucked up My Life!

one hot shower

One Hot Shower!

Yes, utterly and completely FUCKED UP my life!

I went from Ripped, Rich, and Successful into one Fat, Lazy motherfucker!

But how is it possible?

Taking one shower, REALLY?!

NO… It was One “Hot” Shower.

Comfort, that was it!

Comfort Sneaked up on me!

It is not really the one hot shower, but rather the comfort of having one hot shower!

That fucker in your head, always looking for comfort, easiness and all sort of lazy shit.

You see, nobody really want to hustle, Nobody will Consciously and actively try to hustle and grind for something. Everybody wants the easy way out, trying to be as lazy as possible. We want results, not journeys.

Approaching 50 girls a week?

Fuck that! Can’t I just get laid?

Well, Ya you can!

But you are not there yet. You still need to hustle your way there. You still have to put some serious hard work towards that, then you will easily and comfortably get laid!

You are right, some people are “Blessed?!” with being somehow born into such pleasures. But, life is not fair. GET OVER IT

I will try to explain the fairness of life in an upcoming article

So what does my hot shower have to do with anything?

Here is one tip that could help you transform your whole life:

Consciously put yourself in very uncomfortable and harsh situations.

Most of you will never ever do this or even entertain the thought of putting yourself in harsh situations…

But, Supreme Men are a rare breed… we will always be the 1%.

Back to my hot shower…

I always take early cold showers after my morning 300 Routine.

But one day, due to the shitty situations I was going through at that time, including a torn muscle in my left shoulder that put me out of the gym for 1 year – still not a valid excuse -, I decided to take one Hot shower!

I mean, what could go wrong, I deserve it right?

I mean, I am going through some tough things in life now. One hot shower will be okay today, this piece of cake, skipping my morning routine, I am in pain, right? it hurts? this mean it is okay, I shouldn’t feel pain!

I am tired and injured, why not skip on my next meeting, I can call in sick right?

I mean, since I am in this bad situation… I decided to miss on my next business opportunity, Life has much to offer, right? like, why the hurry?

This is how comfort Sneaks up on you, little by little you end up like a fucking couch potato… You don’t want to hurt anyone, you don’t want to do anything bad, you just want people to leave you in your little comfort zone!

Fuck that!

Look where it got me!

Just eating a small piece of chocolate during your diet will 99% lead you to cheat the whole day.
Just skipping the gym for one day with no valid reason will lead you to skip the whole week.
Just taking one hot shower will lead you to miss all the comfort and wanting unnecessary and unproductive comfort back in your life.

Why Cold Showers?

one hot shower

Cold Showers are much more like magic!

You see,

You will never ever “get used to” cold water. NEVER!

Yes, it gets better with time. But that lazy monkey inside your head will keep on pushing you towards taking a hot shower instead… day in and day out it will BEG you to turn on the hot water instead. “like, what could go wrong?” he will say “Don’t I deserve a nice, hot relaxing shower?” he will add.

Day by day, you will show yourself and that lazy fucker in your head WHO IS IN CHARGE. Day by day, he will understand that it is either MY WAY or NO WAY!

No” you will respond… “I am your master and I will tell you what you should do, ALWAYS.

This is How You Conquer Yourself.

one hot shower

You might think I am being a bit too extreme with this approach… Why not take it slow and easy?

Well, because life is neither slow nor easy!

If you want to paddle around in a pool of mediocrity, then this post is seriously not for you! I should have mentioned this in the beginning… This is only for those really wanting to make a presence in this life, those who want to leave their mark, those who want to reach mastery.

Just because something is easy and comfortable doesn’t mean it is the right thing to do.

Yes, it is easier to eat pizza than running on a treadmill. It is easier to turn to beer, chocolate or ice cream instead of people for support. It is easier to say “fuck it, I give up” than admitting that you aren’t giving it all you got. It is easy to jerk off than it is to get with a nice lady…

Fuck man, if you want to stay unhealthy. If you want to keep on living life like a fucking ghost. If you want to keep on hating on people making it in this life, thinking that you are different and unique, that you got the worst hand in this life. Then fucking do it. You are only hurting yourself.

You aren’t what you want to be because you are a lazy fucker… You aren’t where you want to be in life because YOU DON’T WANT IT BAD ENOUGH!

Stop lying to yourself.

Can you handle cold showers in the morning?
Can you handle a daily cardio routine?
Can you handle putting yourself in a very awkward stressful situation?
Can you handle sleeping hungry?

If you train yourself to go through harsh life WILLINGLY, then whatever life throws at you.. you will handle it.

Fuck comfort… Fuck being lazy… stop being pathetic.

Embrace Difficulties. Stay Hungry.

Fuck man. This actually happened to me. It was literally a cold shower which fucked me up, this title caught my attention. I was having cold showers for ages and doing other uncomfortable things, then once I started having hot showers one day, I started drinking more, forgetting about exercise, my room became a mess wow. Back on track, thanks for the inspiration.

One of the hardest parts to accept of the Red Pill paradigm shift is that this is not a weekend retreat. You condition the mindset for success and dominance and work at it every damn day. Or you get lazy and somebody eats your lunch. Takes that promotion. Steals that deal. Fucks your girl.

Keep your edge gents.

Reminds me of a quote one of my friends told me during one of my adventures. “Endure. In enduring, grow strong.”

I might try incorporating this into my daily regimen.

This is presented here as some kind of new idea/revelation, while Catholic theology has advocated a similar ascetic approach to life for 2000 years! Other belief systems (like Buddhism) have done the same for longer, even if for somewhat different reasons.

Self denial and discipline are largely rejected by many in modern society (unless it comes with financial reward) but have proved to be the building blocks of character for centuries.

It wasn’t meant to be a new idea, it is just an observation of behavior. Even in old times, people would still observe their behavior, even in more clarity than we can today.

I recently started ending my hot showers with a cold blast, three blasts at full cold, after nice and warm is quite the shock to the system.

But I found it changed my attitude for most of the day. I felt calm, confident, I found “going for it” in certain socially awkward situations easier. Even the freezers at work started to feel less cold.

I get colds, flu and lung infections every few months, since I was a kid, which obviously disrupts any long term goal I have tried to stick to. Asthma complicates things.

But I finally decided to start taking extra vitamins, oily fish, pushups and squats every morning, jogging, and the cold showers, to turn my health and approach to life around for the better.

I was feeling great, thought maybe I could go two months without catching something. My self discipline was improving a lot.

Then suddenly my throat swells up, I feel exhausted, can’t swallow. And my brain basically heads down a familiar negative spiral and I’m just lying in bed thinking…. “maybe I should just rest, take it easy, I have a day off, I still have shit to do, but clearly I’m doing too much, otherwise I wouldn’t be getting sick again”….

Then I read your article, and you reminded me that to back down now, and let this little thing turn me away from my responsibilities, and potential opportunity, would be the weak, defeated person I have been working to move away from.

So I’m not going to lie in bed, I’m gonna go about my day, get my shit done, even though its much later than I wanted, even though I feel like shit.

I’ve never taken a cold shower when I’m sick, maybe it’ll boost my system. Time to find out.

Thank you for this article. I found it at the right time.

Cheerio!
